Prayers for our Youth

1.  Pray for our youth who don’t know Jesus, that they will receive Him into their hearts as Lord and Savior of their lives.

2.  Pray for those who know Him but have decided to take another path, pray for a spiritual awakening. They will return back to you Lord. For He loves them and is waiting to receive them with open arms.

3.  Pray that they will have hope and peace in the Lord and that they would be set free from every spirit of fear, anxiety, stress, frustration, depression and suicide in the name of Jesus. May they not be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, they will let their requests be made known to God.

4.  Pray for restoration of relationships in homes and the lives of our youth.

5.  For those who are daily walking with Him. Pray that they will not let any man despise their youth; but be an example for the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. Father bless and keep them, overwhelm them with your grace and empower them by your Spirit.

6.  Pray for boldness, courage, strength, and wisdom for our youth to share and live out their faith in their school, on their sports team/extracurricular activity, at their work, and wherever they go.

7.  Pray that they will have a spirit of humility and servitude in Christ Jesus.

8.  Pray that they will heed their father’s instruction, and forsake not their mother’s teaching. They will bring their parents joy and not sorrow.

9.  Pray for equipping and for confidence for parents of our youth to disciple their kids. Pray for salvation for parents of our youth who do not have a relationship with Jesus.

10.  Pray that parents would pray daily and without ceasing for their children

But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do.  But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. Philippians 1:6
